Tony Berlin serves as a great example of how a man can pursue their passion, make money out of it, start their own business, meet the love of their life, and become a multimillionaire while at it. This guide takes you through Tony Berlin’s success story, from when he started his education all through his multiple jobs until he succeeded.
Tony Berlin’s Early Life
Tony Berlin was born on the 13th of October, 1968. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, a city where media and communication are at their peak. It was no wonder that he showed a lot of interest in media from a young age, eventually joining Occidental College and earning a Political Science degree in 1989.
He didn’t stop there, though. A few years later, he pursued further studies at the American University School of Communication in Washington, DC., earning himself a Master’s degree in journalism in 2001.

Tony Berlin’s Early Career
Berlin’s first career profession might surprise you. The expert reporter started his life waiting for it, as an elementary school teacher at Humphreys Elementary School. We have no criticism in such a job. If anything, it’s an honorable and noble job. We just didn’t expect it. That being said, Berlin stayed in the Los Angeles-based school there from 1989 until 1992.
Tony Berlin’s Further Career
After leaving Humphreys Elementary, Tony focused his eyes on an actual career in media, landing a job as a TV producer for Cox Enterprises in 1993. He covered national news for 12 TV stations and later became a news reporter for WJCL 22 in Savannah, Georgia, and WSLS 10 in Roanoke, Virginia.
It didn’t take him long (in fact, it took him only two years) to become the lead reporter and anchor for WHIO-TV in Dayton, Ohio, in 1995. During this time, he also anchored the “Newsmaker Sunday” political program.
After that point, Tony’s career went from a success to a success. From 1998 to 2005, he was a reporter and anchor at WCCO-TV in the Twin Cities. After he stopped, and in the same year (2005), he moved to CBS News in New York, where he worked as a field producer for several news broadcasts.
He’s not done! After his stint at CBS, Berlin joined Padilla Speer Beardsley as a Media Relations Manager in 2006. Two years later, he became the Director of Media Relations at Credit.com.

Still with us? Three years later (we’re in 2011 now by the way), Tony Berlin’s entrepreneurship kicked in when he launched his own company: “Berlin Media Relations.” The company focuses on public relations, marketing, and media placements.
As of September 2024, Berlin’s primary focus is still his company. One more thing; throughout his career in the media, Tony has also written for major publications. This includes but isn’t limited to:
- The Huffington Post
- Time Magazine
- The Wall Street Journal
- USA Today
- The New York Times
- Newsweek
Tony Berlin and Harris Faulkner
Tony’s life is, without a doubt, a fascinating one, but we left a huge part of it uncovered; Harris Faulkner. You can say that Berlin’s fame multiplied after he married Harris Faulkner, the award-winning journalist for Fox News. They met when he was a reporter and anchor at WCCO-TV in 2001 at a karaoke bar in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Despite working at different TV stations, they started dating and developed a strong connection. It only took them two years to get married on April 12, 2003, when they married in a private ceremony at a resort in Rio Rico, Arizona. They put a lot of thought into selecting that particular location, as many of their extended family members live in Arizona.
Tony Berlin’s Net Worth
Tony Berlin’s estimated net worth is around $5 million. He has accumulated this wealth primarily through his work as a reporter, anchor, and producer, as well as through his role as the President and CEO of his own company.

Final Words
Tony Berlin’s life and career are a testimony to how hard work and passion can and will pay off eventually. He kept climbing the growth ladder through multiple TV channels until he managed to start his own company. He also didn’t forget his personal life and married a successful woman within his career so they could strive together. If there’s an example of how a man should grow, Tony Berlin can be a great role model.
