PC Games Releases That Has The World Hyped For 2022

There’s nothing like the hype that surrounds the media campaign and the release of a new PC game! Companies go all out and they spend hundreds of thousands of dollars preparing the game and the release in the hopes of attracting as much attention as possible from the worldwide gaming community.

All in the hope of having a kickoff and initial sales that rival the best releases out there. The gaming industry, particularly the PC gaming industry, has grown at an incredible rate over the last two years, largely thanks to the restrictions that have kept us indoors.

The global gaming industry is currently worth more than 300 billion US dollars and is estimated to be worth about 70 billion more by the time 2025 rolls around. Big companies are not afraid of big spending on new releases because they know the revenue they’re likely to bring in will make the release costs pale in comparison. The best online casino in the world might have a similar rollout plan to what these game companies are currently looking at!

So, with no further ado, let’s check out some of the most hyped-up game releases coming our way in 2022.

Elden Ring

Release date: Feb 25th

While Elden Ring was said to be in line with the dark and twisty world of the Dark Souls games, our tester found a lot of the detail lacking by comparison. The dungeons in the world are quite straightforward, with no real surprises lurking anywhere. Though Elden Ring might lack detail in its spaces, the number of spaces in the world is truly incredible. The depth of the combat in the game is far beyond anything that any of the Dark Souls games have achieved.

Here you can upgrade your weapons from very early in the game and mix melee with magic. Die-hard Dark Souls fans might not enjoy the open-world feel of the game as much as the previous titles that the developers released, but Elden RIng is a must-try for any fantasy fan. The lore was written by none other than George RR Martin, of Game of Thrones fame, so it’s worth a try for that alone.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

Release date: Early 2022

There’s not much to say here that hasn’t been said already. Honestly, we don’t need to hear any more! Just take out money and get the game. Fatshark didn’t have to work too hard to get fans excited for this one; 41st-millennium vermintide? YES PLEASE. Warhammer 40,000 will still feature the weapons that fans know and love from the earlier games: thunder hammers, chainswords, and the “lasgun” flashlights that the Imperial Guard carry at all times. In the game, you’ll become a servant of the inquisition who comes down from the starship to deal with the cultists in the densely populated hive city.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

Release date: 2022

You’re the only person left in Tokyo: all of its other inhabitants have mysteriously vanished. In this first-person game, you roam the city and come face to face with the apparitions that appeared when the humans left. There’s an overall eerie feeling in this game that we love: the malevolent cackles you hear in the background are certainly disconcerting. From first looks featuring faceless men in sharp suits, ghost women armed with enormous scissors, and decapitated schoolgirls, it seems that Resident Evil fans may find a new love in Ghostwire.

Wizard With A Gun

Release date: 2022

The title pretty much sums up why we’re so excited about this one. Wizards with guns? We’re in! The trailer makes a strong case for how great the game is going to be: stylish and inviting. What we’ve heard about the lore for the game, from developer Galactic Games, is this: some magical disaster has occurred which has made people lose their trust in all magic wielders, leaving the wizards in a somewhat difficult position. They become something akin to outlaws in the Old West, hunted by “mage hunters” as they gather the resources they need to survive. Players will unleash spells in the form of bullets, something completely new.

Saints Row

Release date: Aug 23

The Saints Row release has been delayed, and we’re hoping it’ll be worth the wait. This reboot is looking like it’s going to be a slightly more grounded version than its predecessor, but not grounded enough to be boring. Players will be building an empire of crime in the American Southwest: Santo Ileso, to be precise. You’ll snatch up the districts that your rivals hold and commit all kinds of crimes, including insurance fraud, in a theatrical fashion.

Wrap Up

You won’t have too long to wait for whichever of these games suits your tastes. While some have been delayed for a while, we know they’ll be worth all the waiting! 2022 promises to be an exciting year for the PC game industry, with more mind-blowing games on the horizon. Which one will you be playing first?
